Since 1963 On Thanksgiving morning the Mt. Prospect Jaycees have also hosted this annual Turkey Trot for families in the Mount Prospect community. This year will mark the 50th year that we have hosted this event. Join us for an event to be remembered.
The Turkey Trot run is hosted at the Mount Prospect Golf Course and is now the oldest continual running event in the Chicagoland area.
Thanks again to everyone for coming out and partaking in our 49th annual Turkey Trot. Hope to see you all again next year for our 50th.
When: Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28, 2013
Where: Mt. Prospect Golf Course, 600 See Gwun
Time: First race begins at 9:15 AM ( 8:00 AM Check-in )
Cost: $25 for Adults and $15 for ages 14 and under
- Awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers for each division.
- T-shirts will be provided to the first 300 registered entrants.
- Proceeds from the race are donated back to the community through the Mt. Prospect Jaycees.Past recipients include: Mt. Prospect Senior Center, CEDA, Women in Need Growing Stronger(WINGS), Scholarships for High School; Local Animal Shelters.
- We will also be collecting new toys to be donated to needy families / children for Christmas
